The sword is a short very robust fighting sword, with similar properties to a roman gladius.
The hilt of the sword is comprised of a wooden grip and which shows extensive signs of age, having a portion of the wooden grip missing. The guard is a short set of curved quillons facing inwards toward the handle.
The pommel of the sword is an iron pommel cap, both the pommel and guard share the same patterns and designs. The blade of the sword is a double edge design with extensive signs of use and stresses in the iron. The blade also has three hearts stamped at the base of the ricasso on one side.
