This rarely seen type of war hammer is a later medieval period having an all iron construction.

Likely from Eastern Europe, the overall condition is excellent condition.

The overall weight is quiet well balanced, the shaft having a spiral / twisted pattern. The middle section having a strut or braced section, raised with the same spiral engraving.

The head itself is very unusual having a very uncommon shape and a spike.

A rarely seen type of war hammer from the late medieval period.

Truly a rarely seen sword of Museum quality!
